The 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV is a bona fide great choice if you’re looking to drastically reduce your carbon footprint and enjoy plenty of comfort and style while doing so. According to the experts at Kiplinger, the Bolt EV is also an excellent option if you’re a more experienced driver, earning a spot on its list of The 10 Best Cars for Senior Drivers.
The cars that make Kiplinger’s list are determined by key
factors, like visibility, ease of access, active safety features, headlights
and ease of controls. The list recommends the Bolt EV Premier with the Driver
Confidence II Package, which offers up driver-assistive safety features and
more advanced headlights.
As an electric vehicle, the Bolt EV ensures you never have to
stop for gas. It’s got an EPA-estimated 259-mile range, so it’s well-equipped
for city driving and plenty capable for road trips up to Milwaukee or down to
Chicago.* Better still, you may be able to qualify for additional savings
through Wisconsin state incentives.
Beyond all that, Kiplinger praises the Bolt EV as a great
option for senior drivers because of its tall seats, flat floor design and
large doors. With these components and the lack of a sill, it’s easier to climb
into the cabin and get comfortable.

The announcement that the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray would adopt a mid-engine architecture was beyond exciting for car enthusiasts and collectors. That excitement reached new heights at the Barrett-Jackson car auction that took place in Scottsdale, Arizona, where the first-ever mid-engine Corvette to leave the production line was purchased for a staggering $3 million.
The proud owner of the all-new sports car is Rick Hendrick, a former NASCAR driver, current NASCAR team owner and avid car collector. In addition to leaving the auction house with a piece of history, the hefty sum he put down will go to a phenomenal cause. The money General Motors collected in exchange for the Corvette will go to the Detroit Children’s Fund, a non-profit that works to better the quality of Detroit’s schools.
The auction house previously sold a 1967 L88 Corvette Coupe
for a total of $3.85 million in 2014. Even though the classic 1967 model
managed to edge out the revolutionary 2020 model, it’s still impressive that the
newest iteration of the Corvette Stingray was sold for $3 million, showing that
the redesigned model has garnered noteworthy attention for its style and power.
If the auction is any indication, the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray will be a popular option once it reaches dealerships. If you want to try your hand at the all-new model when it finally is released or want to check out the 2019 model, visit us here at Bud Weiser Motors.
